Experience in teaching

I have been teaching the English language in different language centers (BIS and Alibra School in Saint Petersburg) since 2013 and as a private teacher since 2010. I have been working via Skype teaching French, English, logic and philosophy for two years already. I have an experience of teaching logic and philosophy at Saint Petersburg University as a doctoral student.

Additional Info

Usage of various techniques (including communicative) that best suit a particular student and form a complex approach (both for French and English). I pay special attention to pronunciation and overcoming the language barrier, develop good listening and speaking skills. I can also help to improve student's writing skills, especially with the academic writing style. I work with student's books from such publishing houses as Cambridge, Longman, Oxford, MacMillan (for English) and Hachette and CLE International (for French). Teaching logic and philosophy I pay special attention to developing students reasoning skills (and not just learning some new information). With logic I try to show students some links between logic and philosophy and logic and mathematics and computer science. I also try to make a session entertaining by proposing different puzzles and challenges to encourage students.
